The Cigarette Stench
This poem summarizes how a beautiful a lady was before she was away from smoking and later, how the addiction spoiled her being.
Hey woman... do not spoil your being 'coz there are people who love you so much... This ones for you on World Tobacco Day!
Erstwhile,
With skin; so untouched, the countenance so gleaming..
Those lips; so beckoning, parroting the stories of a savoir faire..
The metacarpus; so primed, dashing off the prodigious contemplation...
Your portal and dentures; giving an endowment to relish the flavors of aliment..
With coiffure; so furbished, breezing you in so conspicuously..
That avidity in your perceptions, revealing your ecstasy..
The cardiac organ of your body; so undiluted and inclined..
Those pleura and the brawn; bequeathing a vivacious debonair drive..
Like a woman of protoplasm; casting out redolence..
Oh beautiful lady; so resplendent, so awe-inspiring you were!!!
Extant,
With skin; so slackened, surface so much ashen-ed..
Those lips; so parched, puckered under the smoke..
The metacarpus; so daubed with a fag perched between them..
Your portal and dentures; vociferating with the carcinoma..
With coiffure; shriveled and pauperized..
That purblind perception; proclaiming the doom
The cardiac organ; feather-bedded and enervated..
Those pleura and the brawn; fatigued and sagged..
Like a bag of bones; gushing the poisonous stench..
Oh afflicted lady; so unrefined, so besotted you have become!!!
